Do I need a referral to be seen at KwikPsych?
No referral is needed. You can request an appointment directly through our website or by calling 737-367-1230. If your insurance plan requires a referral, check with your primary care provider first.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept a variety of commercial insurance plans. Visit our Insurances page for the full list of accepted plans. If you don't see your plan listed, call us — we may still be able to help with out-of-network options or self-pay rates.
Can I be seen by telehealth?
Yes. We offer telehealth appointments for patients located anywhere in Texas. Telehealth visits are conducted by video and are available for most of our services, including medication management and follow-ups.
How long is the first appointment?
Initial psychiatric evaluations typically last 45–60 minutes. This allows your provider to review your history, discuss your concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications (including dosages), and any relevant medical records or prior psychiatric evaluations. If you're attending a telehealth visit, make sure you have a private, quiet space with a stable internet connection.
How do I know if KwikPsych is right for me?
KwikPsych specializes in outpatient psychiatric care for adults, including medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment for conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. If you're unsure, send us a question using the form above and our team will help you determine if we're a good fit.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules to avoid a late cancellation fee. You can call us at 737-367-1230 or contact us through the Patient Portal to make changes.

For your privacy and security, KwikPsych communicates with patients through HIPAA-compliant channels only. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Use the Patient Portal for all non-urgent clinical messages to your provider.
  • Do not send protected health information (PHI) via standard email or text message.
  • Our team will respond to portal messages within one business day during normal office hours.
